AIR - Preemptive Media Project - AIR is a public, social experiment in which people are invited to use Preemptive Media's portable air monitoring devices to explore their neighborhoods and urban environments for pollution and fossil fuel burning hotspots. While AIR is designed to be a tool for individuals and groups to self identify pollution sources, it also serves as a platform to discuss energy politics and their impact on environment, health and social groups in specific regions.
THINGLINK - Thinglink.org is an open database where makers can register their work for free and create labels for their products. Crafters, artists, designers, producers, and other makers can use Thinglink to identify their products and document their work. We built Thinglink for makers, because we think everyone is a maker. We hope it will make the social networks around products visible and navigable.
Radioboeken uitgebreid in 2007 - Dit najaar en in 2007 zullen tientallen nieuwe Radioboeken worden voorgelezen en ingeblikt bij deBuren en in internationaal literatuurhuis Passa Porta. Tientallen nieuwe verhalen, speciaal voor deBuren geschreven en voorgelezen door Nederlandse en Vlaamse schrijvers. De verhalen worden uitgezonden via de radio, zijn als podcast beschikbaar en verschijnen op cd.
